TRANSMITTING SCIENCE’S

STUDENT’S BEST PRESENTATION AWARD

.

.

This year we are proud to present the Transmitting Science’s award for the best student presentation. The prize for this award will be a fee waiver for any of the courses of the winner’s choice among the ones offered by Transmitting Science up to December 2024. If you would like to know more about the courses, please visit the Transmitting Science official website.

All students presenting their work in the 4th Palaeontological Virtual Congress will automatically participate in the contest, regardless of their presentation format. The prize covers the registration fees for any course, but please keep in mind that it does not cover travel expenses, maintenance, and accommodation in the case of the selected being in person instead of online formats; although the latter has several interesting options too, so please do check them out! To cash the prize, you would need to enroll in the course of your interest and, within its registration form, in the comments field, you must indicate that you have been awarded the Transmitting Science’s Student’s Best Presentation Award at the Paleontological Virtual Congress 2023. If the first awarded cannot or does not want to participate in any of the courses, the prize will roll over to the second, and so on. The winner will be chosen by the Organising Committee of the 4th PVC and will be announced and contacted shortly after.

We are looking forward to seeing your presentations. Please, let us know if you have any questions regarding the award or anything else, send us an email at palaeovc@gmail.com. Good luck to all!
